In 2017, the Walt Disney Co. announced that the park’s escalator had been broken for the fifth time in the park.
The escalator’s broken section was the third broken section in the same year.
The news comes on the heels of a similar incident last year.
The third-floor escalator was broken last year and another break happened in 2018, the first time in 25 years that an escalator in Walt Disney World’s parks had been repaired.
As the company is working to fix broken escalators, the company has been forced to increase its maintenance costs for the system.
As a result, some riders are complaining about the escalator breakage.
“They’re breaking the escalators.
We have no control over it,” a rider told The Associated Press on Thursday.
Disneyland’s escalators are made from steel, so the breaks are not unusual.
The company says it will replace the broken escalator at no cost.
