Posted July 29, 2021 02:16:06 As actor Christopher Escalante and his wife, actress Elizabeth Lambert, celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary last month, the actress died in an apparent suicide.

“It was a very sad day, as Christopher and Elizabeth were both so beloved,” her brother, Adam Lambert, told ABC News.

“Christopher passed away at age 65, just two months after they married.”

Christopher Escala was born on March 1, 1921 in New York City.

He is best known for playing the role of a retired naval officer in the 1966 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.

His first major film role came in 1964’s The Last Man.

His most recent film credits include the TV series Sons of Anarchy, which has aired on Showtime since 2013, and a 2014 feature film, The Last Soldier.
