The Trump campaign on Wednesday announced it would give $5,000 to Hillary for America and the Democratic National Committee.

The $5K donation will go to the two organizations that have been instrumental in Trump’s success in the last year, according to a press release.

The campaign said the donations would help support its efforts to elect Democratic officials in the Senate and House, and elect Democrats to office across the country.

The announcement came after the former secretary of state endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for president on Sunday, and Sanders’ presidential campaign has said he has “a tremendous chance of winning the White House.”

The Sanders campaign released a statement on Wednesday praising the campaign’s announcement and called on other candidates to do the same.

“We appreciate the campaign and the Clinton campaign for their support,” the Sanders campaign said in a statement.

“With more than 3 million votes cast and over 100 days until Election Day, it is imperative that all candidates across the political spectrum take action to ensure that the next president will represent all Americans.”

While Trump has yet to endorse a candidate, he has made clear he’s not going to back down from his campaign promise to build a wall along the Mexican border and to impose tariffs on Mexican goods.

He’s also called for a major crackdown on illegal immigration.

Sanders, who has been criticized for not being sufficiently outspoken about his positions on immigration, has said repeatedly he would deport millions of undocumented immigrants if elected president.
